I listened to it twice through today. The fist time through I thought, "This is good." It started over again and I thought, "Oh my emmin-effin mutha of gawd, this is a mastuhpiece." Cuz that's the accent the excited version of the voice in my head uses.
"Congratulations" makes me want to go to London, take mushrooms, and go see "Hair."
30 second soundclips do nothing to convey the aural joy contained in the album, which has to be heard in its entirety, through proper speakers.
I heard it for the first time on Friday and we have literally played ALL weekend. It is brilliant, psychedelic, and sticky-gooey delicious.
These guys are amazing.
Fave songs:
It's Working
Brian Eno
and all 12 glorious minutes of Siberian Breaks
But really, there's not a bad song on it.
Run and get this album!

"Siberian Breaks" is transplendent.
Definitely late to the MGMT party, but they are pretty awesome.
They were on SNL last night. They were OK, I think the "Brian Eno" song was the second one(?). I didn't care for the crazy ending but liked the song.
here's the crazy music video for Flash Delirium. i love how the song builds and builds at the end. thanks namo for recommending this! i hadn't listened to them until now. they're going to be playing The Bamboozle Festival for which i shall be in attendance :]

Their music makes me dizzy. Does that mean that I get it or no?

It just means it makes you dizzy.
I'm going to give it some more listens, but as of yet it hasn't grabbed me like Oracular Spectacular did. Love Brian Eno and Siberian Breaks, though.
Fantastic album! Been spinning it constantly. Are we happy with Here Lies Love?? I LOVE it!
