MOMMIE DEAREST VS. THE EVIL DEAD

BRILLIANT, BRAVO! I LOVE IT!
I watch that thing atleast once a week. It is fantastic.
I've bookmarked it.......I need that at the very least once a week.
That is pretty great...now I have to watch Evil Dead again!
I've never seen evil dead
If you just do a search for Mommie Dearest, there's one called "Mommie Moments" that takes certain scenes from the film (not the ones you'd expect, though) and mixes it with the underscoring from THE BRADY BUNCH. It's not amazing, but it IS amusing.
Elphie...that is just sad...go rent it!
The editing in this is great, and the music makes it!
definately to both!

That one is absolutely, gut-bustingly hysterical.

I can't get enough of anything Mommie Dearest related.
don't have time to watch these right now, but i've bookmarked! (cause i know these youtube links have a habit of disappearing.)
Joan Crawford: Why can't you give me the respect that I'm entitled to? Why can't you treat me like I would be treated by any stranger on the street?
Christina: Because I am NOT one of your fans.
Not Mommie Dearest, but dammit I love this one. I reminds me of how awful the show was. I LOVED it.

ah, Disco Memories.......
I'm glad you're home
And I think you really miss me
I guess you did by the look in your eyes (look in your eyes, look in your eyes)
Well lay back and relax while I put away the dishes (put away the dishes)
Then you and me can rock-a-bye
You can ring my be-e-ell, ring my bell
You can ring my be-e-ell, ring my bell
You can ring my be-e-ell, ring my bell
You can ring my be-e-ell, ring my bell
The night is young and full of possibilities
Well come on and let yourself be free
My love for you, so long than I've been savin'
Tonight was made for me and you
You can ring my be-e-ell, ring my bell
You can ring my be-e-ell, ring my bell
You can ring my be-e-ell, ring my bell
You can ring my be-e-ell, ring my bell
I just got the new special edition of MD--the cover art is gorgeous and the extras are pretty great--John Waters does most of the work and Lypsinka does a little, though I wish she'd do ALOT more.
I really wish Faye would embrace this film because if she did a press tour for this dvd, the crowds that gathered would astonish her I have no doubt. C'mon Faye, we're waiting!
THE EVIL DEAD and MOMMIE DEAREST is still the best!
Not nearly enough attention is paid to three of my favorites:
- The haircutting scene ("What do you mean 'playing'? Pawing through my things.... making fun o' me?")
- The argument with Al Steele ("Weeee have to look GREAT... for PEPSI COLAAAAAA!")
- The argument in the restaurant ("Maybe you'd be better off AT HOME!" "I'm sorry!")

I just watched the ABBA one, I think that might take the cake. I was hyperventilating while watching it - it was that hysterical.
"Why can't you treat me like some picked-up floozy?"
