Gee, BYE BYE BIRDIE is in my top 5 favorite musical films. Anyway, I never feel guilty about anything that I like; but one that would fit the category is BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS. I love that film. First, I thought it was about as cool as any film could possibly be, in 1970; and, second, it starred my former girlfriend, which was VERY cool at the time.

"But I must admit, it did get much worse."

How do you mean?

Personally, I thought that "Scream" was very well-written.

The teen horror flicks seemed to go down the drain way back in the '70s. But only when Scream came out, did Hollywood start making hardcore sequels and pointless slasher flicks every month.

Scream was certainly not on my list for favorite horror movies. But like I said, it's a 'guilty pleasure'. Personally, I thought Scream 2 was more enjoyable.)

Don't know why anyone would list JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS as a guilty pleasure. I agree with what Tom Hanks said about it, "Some say Citizen Kane, I say Jason and the Argonauts." It's a wonderful film.
