Madonna's net worth is around 300 million...
This IS counting real estate (which I think amounts to 4 homes not counting apt buildings and the homes of certain family members)....
...but not counting things like her Frida Kahlo paintings which she bought in the 80's when NO ONE ELSE was buying them..or her Keith Harings which he use to GIVE HER for FREE!!!
MOMA list her art collection alone as and I quote "one of the largest collections of 20th Century art in the world"...and that's just her art collection!
Money, she does not need!

And I assume her husband is penniless as well? Puh-leez! Why does anyone even care why she's touring? If you've always wanted to see her, then great! Now may be your chance. If you never wanted to see her, then you won't buy a ticket, as usual. The fact that she'll make money from the tour is kind of obvious, but as for her motives for touring, I don't assume to know what she's thinking, nor do I care. That's her business, not ours.

Oh, come on now. Who here or anywhere works, but doesn't want to get paid? It's awfully hard to tour the way she does for this long if you don't like it. She goes through a very intense training period before touring and is very strict about it. And at her age (not that I consider her old), most people wouldn't be able to hack it, but she is in such superb condition that she can do it. I say brava to her!

I love Madonna. I like the old stuff a lot better but I do like the newer material and find it okay. I'll be there if and when it comes to PA>

Ahhh....I can't wait. I've found Madonna's tours get progressively better as she gets older, with her last tour being the best. Hopefully I'll be able to get decent seats without having to sell myself.

Hmmm interesting concept Erik....Allright ladies and gentlemen we are bidding off a date with ErikJ here for whenever the Madonna tour hits to his hometown! The bidding will start at $100 dollars and trust me ladies and gentlemen he is worth MUCH MUCH more than that. ErikJ tell them a little bit about yourself just to get things rolling!

I read an article about a year ago on Madonna, in it it pointed out the fact that she is getting a little long in the tooth to be doing the sort things she does. The writer commented that she resembles the parent who goes to pick their child up from the school prom and has to get up on the dance floor to prove she can still do the moves much to the embarrassment of the child.

I think they have this all wrong, she's going to be GIVING a tour in 2004, she'll take you all around her tony London neighborhood, or "neighbourhood" as they say 'cross the pond.
Think of it, you start out having a hearty brunch with Madge,drop into the local Pub for a pint and then it's off to Highbridge for a little shopping.After a day of hobknobbing with the local gantry she'll tuck you in as she reads you a bit of "the English Roses", and if your lucky a quiet lullabye version of "Into The Groove".

Actually, Frieda Kahlo's market was quite active and bubbling along nicely before Madonna became interested in them - though her intrest certainly helped to push the market for them into the stratosphere.

After that happened, I recall Madonna becoming disenchanted and saying something in an interview along the lines of liking her before "everybody did." It was cute and very junior high.
