Male Embarassment!

Posted: 3/30/06 at 12:13amHi guys, This is totally not the note I had planned ending the night on but here's the deal. I'm a hefty guy and I just graduated from high school. Now I'm trying to enter the professional world of theater and would like to take it up a notch. Untill I lose some "baby fat" can any of you recommend some good compression shirts or shorts that actually work? Would be a great help. Thanks all!

Posted: 3/30/06 at 1:50amYou don't need a "compression" suit. Just be natural. If you need to lose a few pounds to feel better then do it. But putting on a girdle will only make you feel uncomfortable, both physically and emotionally. You are too young to be worried about making yourself look better by such artificial means. There are many great roles for young actors of a certain size. And truth be told, those roles are a hell of a lot more fun to play than the romantic leads! (Not that romantic leads have to be svelte, by any means, but you know what I am saying.) Good luck!

find 15-20 minutes 3-4 times a week to go running/jogging. Dont say "i'll do it when i can...." or else it will never be done. Schedual it into your day. you wont regret it.
it will be hard the first couple days, but after that you will feel great about yourself, you will loose a couple pounds, and really deserve a good nights sleep!

Hon,
I think you're adorable just the way you are, but understand your feelings. I always try to remember my (gorgeous) best friend's mantra: "Nothing tastes as good as looking the way you want to." It sounds egotistical, and i'm by no means advocating extreme measures, but when you've eaten enough for the day, and you're contemplating that late-night McDonald's run...think about if it's really worth it.

No.
lukeboy, as others have said - try to add some healthy activity to your life. You'll feel great about yourself wish some exercise, and will possibly drop a few of the unwanted pounds. But, mostly, make sure you're participating in activities that you enjoy. Wishing you the best.

Ok, you said you just graduated High School and another post said you want to look younger? How much younger, fetus?
You are putting too much pressure on yourself. Enjoy this time in your life. It goes by really fast.
