Though I seriously doubt most Americans could do much better, wherever they're from.

I am so ignorant about geography. At least I'm ashamed of it (though I don't do anything about it). I watch "Jeopardy" sometimes and think "I bet I'd do fairly well"--until geography rears its ugly head.

Usually there is one spec for Upstate being Saratoga because that's where all the rich people spend their summers when not in the Hamptons.

I live in New Hampshire and it's not even on there... Which is understandable, because there is nothing up here (except for moose, granite and the occasional cow or two).
