"Honey-
Men don't want one woman. Do the same thing. Date many men.
I DO! I am going through the exact same thing.
Don't over eat, instead date others.
You will be amazed how much fun it will be.
Also play hard to get.
Men are dogs honey.
DOGS!" - Corine2 10/29/04
So I guess Shaiman doesn't really post anymore. He has been on line and I saw that he added a comment to this thread... but definitely not really posting. And all around the same time Jim V was denied of his constitutional rights by some jealous hairspray cast member and misinformed producers. What a shame. I have missed Marcs posts especially the light hearted ones intended for just pure fun. And from chatting with Jim here and the two times I met him in person it seemed to me that this is a good guy, with a good heart and that he loves what he does and loves sharing his experiences. I mean; what a cool thing to be a conductor on a national tour with a big musical. And how cool for us that he was sharing some of his experiences with us. And he was always so positive in his posts and one on one with anyone that was friendly. ( and also happens to be a yummy stud) Anyway; the off-topic board is not the same without their posts.
"Noah, someday we'll talk again. But there's things we'll never say. That sorrow deep inside you. It inside me, too. And it never go away. You be okay. You'll learn how to lose things..."

I miss Marc too. Who else do I have to test out my wonderful poetic alterations on? Maybe a poetic alteration asking him to come back soon is in order!
My avatar is a reminder to myself. I need lots of reminders...
I had the pleasure of running into Mr. Shaiman and Mr. Vukavich when we saw Hairspray at the Pantages - but ever so briefly, as they were very busy living their lives and having fun (it was Matt Morrison's last performance.) A friend is going to be involved with the run in Orange County, so I'm kind of hoping that maybe I'll have the opportunity to cross Marc's path again. I owe him a thank you, and I'd prefer to do it in person. Plus, I'd also like to thank him for all the wonderful music he's given us over the years (we listen to the sountrack to The American President a LOT!)
