I wonder how old her stage mother is: Florence Henderson. I think Henderson looks better now than she did as Mrs. Brady, with that unbecoming hairdo. Florence Henderson and I both went to Carol Haney's memorial service at the Winter Garden, in 1964. Henderson was one beautiful woman! And IMO her singing is under-appreciated. Yes, I am a fan.

We see FloHen fairly regularly out here, and she does indeed look just like that picture - maybe even better in person!

But, unfortunately, she's lost the voice (which, I agree, was one of the better ones.)

I was always amused by the fact that in the short-lived series about the grown up Brady kids, Cindy had a career as a radio D.J. - with that lisp.

Anyone else remember that show? Greg was a doctor, Bobby was a racecar driver who was in a wheelchair after a horrendous crash. Bobby's wife was MTV's Martha Quinn.

Anyone remember The Brady Brides? Marcia and Jan grow up, get married and share a house. (Nothing said about wife sharing).

Notice in the link below how Maureen's name comes first in the credits, but Eve's name is higher. Oh the joy of how to credit stars.

I think there was only one TV movie where they didn't have at least one "fake sister." It's the only time the full cast was back together.


Can't remember which one. But at different times, each of the three girls were out.

By the way, in high school we had to watch a movie called "Peege". It was shot on the same set that was the Brady interior. I expected any minute to see Alice go whizzing by with a feather duster.

I have to tell you that when I first moved to "the Valley" from Hollywood, when I was living in L.A., about two months later, someone said, "You know you live two blocks from the Brady Bunch house?"

I was floored. And sure enough, I did! I was such a geek about it back then that would actually drive all friends and family past it on the way to my place. Nobody ever turned me down for a look, either. They all wanted to see the exterior of that house. It looked a little different then. There was a big tree in the front yard, and a fence. But there was no mistaking the house.

The best is A Very Brady Christmas...Maureen made it, but that was the one Susan bowed out because filming interfered with her wedding.

That Christmas scene is revisited with young Carol singing...cut to present day (1985?) and there's older Carol, singing an octave lower. Magic!
