2.) I am certain that the near-by Chinese restaraunts were thrilled.

Me too, SNAFU! He was adorable, as are your dogs.
It was a horrific tragedy, and a heroic man and several dogs are still suffering because of it. It breaks my heart just thinking about what all of them are going through.
