i found my dad using some online dating thing 2 months after he and my mother got a divorce. it kind of sucked. sorry to make my story depressing haha its the only online dating one i have

Don't know where you live, but go join Nerve personals.
They have a credit system which is so much better than a monthly thing, unless you like to go crazy and write 65 boys a day, you just keep the credits as long asyou like and use one to initiate a conversation anytime you see someone you like.

That said, I know a lot of people who have been with people for a long time after meeting them online. So it's possible.
