It was 1987, actually, but that's nit-picking. And he swerved over to the wrong side of the road. Maybe he didn't realise that we drive on the left hand side...

The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

Salve, Regina, Mater misericordiae
Vita, dulcedo, et spes nostra
Salve, Salve Regina
Ad te clamamus exsules filii Eva
Ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes
O clemens O pia

Plus, he had been driving for awhile before he suddenly swerved. Probably got distracted by something he was doing in the car. What a moron.

I was working with him on a film when the fateful accident happened during post production on his trip to Ireland in 87.

He did not take this lightly. He set up a fund for the family involved and it truly changed his life.

Make all the jokes you want. I'll be the first to tell a good one.

I love the Reeve/Walken (RobbO) joke already on this thread! Chris would have told it himself (take your pick as to which Chris I'm talkin' about, cause I've worked with 'em both...and they would have both laughed).

Whatever y'all think of Matt, he's a good guy trying to do the right thing.

Whether or not Karma has anything to do with it, let your own karma allow him to be well.
