Posted: 10/16/08 at 1:31pmIf he still wants the chance to win this election, he will show. I am sure as hell going to be watching, not because of John McCain but because I can't wait to see what Dave will say.

Posted: 10/16/08 at 1:54pmPersonally- I hope Dave has him slated to come on last and then runs out of time and doesn't get to him!

"he will. he is a great man and he has never let us down."
Really? Like when he didn't show up the last time? Or how he picked Palin as a running mate? Or the disgraceful way he has run his campaign? He has never let you down?
And SM.. I would love that.

"he will. he is a great man and he has never let us down."
This is hysterical! He only let Letterman (and us) down the last time he was supposed to appear on his show. Not to mention his support of Bush over the years.
However, I'll agree he did not let us down putting Palin in the spotlight. She clarifies the Republican mentality and brought to the lower 48 issues which were before now kept in Alaska.

Posted: 10/16/08 at 2:02pmHe will show, and Dave will show him the proper respect to be shown to a U.S. Senator running for the highest office.

Posted: 10/16/08 at 2:06pmDD, I think you are correct. Dave will be respectful, but will have at least a few jabs.
re: McCain on Letterman tonight?#11
Posted: 10/16/08 at 2:09pmI am sure there will be jabs and more jabs on the days to follow.

Posted: 10/16/08 at 2:12pmI can't wait to see how Dave handles the question about why McCaine cancelled and then went to do the interview with Curic. He said last night that McCaine had some explaining to do. I am sure it was a joke but he said there is a chance Palin may join him. I doubt that. She will be circling the block in the white van!

Oh he'll show up, at least he'd better after the first cancellation.
But he really let us down with his choice for VP and letting her stir up that TERRORIST business at rallies. He should have tried to keep a muzzle on that "attack puppy" and conducted a clean campaign.
If he does show up, I'm playing the "how many times will he blink?" drinking game with some friends at my house!!! I'm sure I'll get truly "pissed" tonight either way!!
re: McCain on Letterman tonight?#14
Posted: 10/16/08 at 2:41pmI'm still waiting for his head to either explode or pop off his neck.

Posted: 10/17/08 at 12:24amLetterman is doing a pretty wussy interview! He's just letting McCain talk. The audience isn't really buying it though. McCain's whole "speech" about Palin was RIDICULOUS! I'm at least glad that Dave brought up G Gordon Liddy! Overall- pretty disappointed in Dave!
