McCain's Candidacy Undone by GAY SWEATERS

"In the final days of his imploding candidacy, John McCain has taken a page out of Richard Nixon's play book, finding increasingly bizarre explanations for his political failures. Strangest of all: He reportedly feels his handlers forced him to wear "gay sweaters."

Beware the Gay Sweater
"Just a Guy. Your feelings are touching. I am gladdened by the thought that you will one day wind up 6 feet under as we all do." - MrRoxy ------ "I do not suggest you walk out the door onto a New York street with your vulnerable child part exposed and not protected..." - Jason Bennett

The McCain campaign did not officially respond for comment, but one source that has been close to the senator poses the question most J. Crew shoppers are no doubt asking: "How can a crew-neck sweater make you look gay? They make him look silly, sure. Old, too. But not gay. That's Romney's department."

Ha!
"How do you like THAT 'misanthropic panache,' Mr. Goldstone?" - PalJoey

Sweaters in July are just a dumb idea
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

Is that 'gay sweater' as in 'a homosexual that perspires' or something else?

I don't get it....

This is obviously a gay sweater. Look how it forces the wearer to place his hand delicately on his hip.

"I think it's too baggy to be gay."

Once again, Kringas, you've fallen into the trap of stereotypes. Not all gay sweaters are body hugging, form fitting, pectoral enhancing, nipple showers. It's a big "gay sweater" world out there and they come in all sizes, shapes and colors. Just like straight sweaters.

re: McCain's Candidacy Undone by GAY SWEATERS

I have been undone by many a gay sweater...No matter how I try, I simply cannot resist a lavender cashmere with rhinestone epaulets. I'm sorry, I just can't.

I think we need to support Mr. McCain in this, his time of fashion crisis; for we have ALL been Fashion Victims.

Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you. Julia: Pardon me, I never knew they were so solicitous at the K-Mart.
