Oh Crap! Letters to Lorretta was the earlier version of the show. 51-55 I believe way before my time. I saw the later onse the final two seasons. I'm no spring chicken but I am far from ancient!

Ha! I wasn't inferring a thing :)

Tonight's MASH featured Gwen Verdon. Then a particularly fine Dick Van Dyke episode for Rose Marie and Morey Amsterdam. Anyone else catch anything good?

Saturday Edit: Marjorie Main on Wagon Train!

Where I live, we get MYTV, which I think is part of METV. However, our programing is different. We don't get Rhoda or MTM show at night. This week, they changed the programing in the morning. I used to enjoy watching Family Affair at 7, then the Donna Reed Show. They may have moved it earlier than 7, but I don't get up that early. Now at 8, we get Leave it To Beaver.

I think MYTV and MeTV are different as are WE TV and MTV.

When I clicked on the MYTV website for their schedule, it stated it was part of the METV network. They advertise Rhoda and MTM on my channel, they just don't show it. Right now, they are playing Thriller, then followed by Perry Mason.
It is promoted in Jacksonville as METV on MYTVJax.

My partner watches MeTV every morning with his cereal. He's obsessed with The Lucy Show right now. And Petticoat Junction.

We have two other spinoff channels. Antenna TV and Cozi TV, very similar to MeTV. It makes every morning feel like 1967.

Love it.

Ethel Merman was a guest on a couple of Lucy Shows recently. She was a hoot. This was in 1963.

I'm obsessed with the amount of blue eye shadow all the ladies wore back then "for the camera." They look like someone Scotch-taped a robin's egg to the top of each lid. It's really frightening, and I can't stop staring at their eyes. Not that they give you a choice. Clearly a clown college was behind this.
