Obama says family is off-limits, but when an adult daughter appears on the Today Show as a campaign surrogate, and makes an incredible statement, it should be fair game:
"No one knows what war is like other than my family. Period."

Posted: 9/9/08 at 11:44pmI don't agree that family who is making statements on your campaign's behalf should be off-limits, in the slightest. Megan McCain, Michelle Obama and anyone else who is speaking on behalf of their candidate is not off limits. If they want to be off limits, then they should keep their mouths shut.
