Doesn't do it for me. Jesse Metcalf's brows disturb me a little. The rest of him-FINE! Anyone out there who love men with plucked within an inch of their lives brows?
Scott Nevins plucks his eyebrows? I never noticed that. There is nothing wrong with Jesse Metcalf. Well, I haven't seen him lately, but I can't imagine anything being wrong with that face!
poor Jesse Metcalfe ...(not Metcalf)... you now you have a problem when Kathy Griffin includes a whole section in her routine, not about you, but your eyebrows...
Groomed eyebrows is jusitifiable, but the guys with the scuplted pointing waxed brows just look hilarious. I keep thinking of the episode of Friends when Joey is stuck with one sculpted brown. Now that men are sculpting their pubes and brows, shaving their body hair, and makeup for men can be found in department stores, what is next? Pantyhose? French tips? Why are men trying to look more like women?
"What can you expect from a bunch of seitan worshippers?" - Reginald Tresilian
I think some men SHOULD and NEED to clean up a little bit - giant bushes are unacceptable - but when you start looking for a Gotti child, it's time to STOP. It's nasty.
"If you are going to do something, do it well. And leave something witchy."-Charlie Manson
Unless you have catepillars on your eyebrows or a unibrow, I don' see why it matters. I wouldn't go doing anyhting to my eyebrows, cuz they aren't crazy or anything.
There is the one girl who is a year or 2 younger than me back at my highschool and wow... she was like the dad from american pie! I forget him name, but she had HUGE eyebrows.
She was pretty too! Her sister was really pretty also (year older than me) and never had any clue why she plucked her eyebrows and her lil sister didn't. Seriously, it looked so bad... I mean everyone is used to it, so not a huge deal. But why!?!?!
This is to girls in here...
Why the hell wouldn't she do anything about that? I just don't get it, even girls who hardly need anything still get them neatened a bit.
I like them neat, but not neater than mine. If he's asking me for my waxer's card....well, that's enough.

- Maya Angelou
I don't think it's about trying to look like women - I think it's just more acceptable now for men to care about how they look and do the "preventative" work that women have always done.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!"
Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!
FYI, people should remember that there have been times in the past where the men dressed and groomed much more flamboyantly than women: wearing purses, gaudy jewelry, powdering their faces (And wearing makeup) and whatnot. And the wheel of time turns and we're back where we started...
"I think it's just more acceptable now for men to care about how they look and do the 'preventative' work that women have always done."
There's nothing "preventative" about waxed eyebrows or Brazilians on men. It goes beyond maintenance into just plain freaky-looking. Many men looked fine and sexy WAY before it got to this stage of obsession (there is not one attractive feature of the Gotti boys). I think guys do it because they falsely believe it attains them a certain level of status. Hopefully, it's just another trend that will eventually go away. Like low-rise jeans or trucker hats. Or the 70s in general.

I think it's because the shape of them shows that they have the potential to take over half of his face if left unattended. I agree-grooming is necessary, but keep it subtle. Unless you DO want to look like Mary Pickford.
Dollypop- Mr. Nevins has nice eyebrows because his are done the right way!
"I'm learning to dig deep down inside and find the truth within myself and put that out. I think what we identify with in popular music more than anything else is when someone just shares a truth that we can relate to. That's what I'm searching for in my music." - Ron Bohmer
"I broke the boundaries. It wasn't cool to be in plays- especially if you were in sports & I was in both." - Ashton Kutcher
Oh jeez..I gotta go with Dollypop on Scott Nevins' brows...what's left of them anyway...cute, but come on...but he's in that therapy crowd, so he's by no means the worst!
