Message: This thread is Part III of our continuing Message Board Celebrity of the Day.

Since appreciation threads have been minimized, I thought we could create a single thread for "Message Board Celebrity Of The Day". In this thread we can celebrate our appreciation for members of the BWW posting community.

In addition to normal posting guidelines (i.e. no personal attacks, etc)

1. The Board Celebrity of the Day is for a calendar day. In other words - today there will be a poster awarded the title. By 10am tomorrow, a new member is awarded the title.

2. A member may not be the Board Celebrity of the Day twice in a 365 day period. In other words - you get one day. Like a birthday.

3. The reigning Board Celebrity chooses the next Board Celebrity. If the current Board Celebrity doesn't post and/or doesn't choose the next Board Celebrity, then the first poster after 10am(eastern standard time) may nominate 3 people (who have not been COTD before). A second poster must eliminate one of the three. A third poster then eliminates a second which will indicate who the next celebrity is. ** Please note: Friday's MBCotD reigns until Monday, 10am. **

For example:

I could nominate (after 10am if the MBCotD didn't choose a successor) Rob, Jose and Dollypop for example. The next poster after me would kick a person off that list (for example Dollypop) which would leave Rob and Jose. The next poster would eliminate either Rob or Jose leaving the new MBCotD

4. The posts in this thread MUST be relevant. Banter is fine, but please try and stay on topic to honor the MBCotD.

5. As always - the board moderators have the right to delete posts that they deem inappropriate.

6. You MUST indicate why you have selected your poster as the MBCotD.

Do to a technical difficulty, I am saddened to report that this thread got sent into the ether. I have the entire thread - but it's too long to post. I will try and post it elsewhere so that it's not gone forever. Until that time, we need to nominate a new MBCotD as Andrea has turned in her crown.

I will post a link to the archived copy of this thread as soon as possible.

Yea, if you could preserve that somehow it'd be great. It would be sad to lose all the CotD part 3 honorees special moments.

And would it be possible to just have a CotD-free weekend and start the nomination process again on Monday? That seems like the fairest option.

Don't you guys remember the nomination process? It's outlined in Craig's first post.

I nominated three people, the next person knocks one person off that list so it's down to two, and then another person eliminates one of the two and we're left with our CotD.

So start eliminating dang it!

singingwendy- That is not me in my avatar- that is my friend Ariel who unfortunately committed suicide in September.

I can't remember what brought me to BWW. I think I had a question about Avenue Q and I happened to find this site and I was going to ask my question...obviously that didn't happen. Instead, my first post was an audition song question.

Harris- Wow, I do like the weather in the winter and fall. My family up north is always jealous.
What drives me the most nuts is the drivers! College students and really old people DO NOT MIX!

Cows...umm, they are pretty cool I suppose.
