What brought me to BWW?
A friend turned me on to this site and you lovely, sexy mo-fo's.
congrats! i was out all day, i didn't forget you! *hug*
Kitz-I loved combing My Little Ponies hair when I was little, and loved the movie they made and watched it all the time. I always wanted lots of My Little Ponies, but my parents weren't to keen on it, so now I buy lots of them for my partner's goddaughter.

And a question, Bobby - you have an entirely free day to spend exactly how you want with money no object. What would you do?
Oh Patricia. I loves me some London Follies pics.
Money is no object?
I'd rent the Palace theatre and hire every one of my favorite Broadway stars, and have them perform my favorite showtunes to an audience full of BWW friends.

What a great way to spend the day. Top billing for Carolee, too.
Well Carolee would be involved in most of the numbers. I think I'll give her the 2nd Act to herself.
Awww Bwaysinger, I miss Elphapbug! Nobody sinks their teeth into me with such charm.
(sorry, this all seems random, just trying to catch up to everyone's lovely posts)
In the spirit of all that is pompus and overblown, I bring you a questionare which has been answered by many a celebrity here at the Actor's Studio. Created by Bernard Pivot, they are probably the most important questions ever posed by humanity.

2. What is your least favorite word?

10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
Congratulations, Bobby! If you could be any one of the original Rat Pack, as in Sinatra, Martin, Lawford, Davis - that crowd - who would you be and why?

All those people who said your lifestyle was wrong and used my words to support their narrow opinions were wrong
I'd go with Sammy. He's one of my favorite performers of all time and I admire his dignity and class.
I know so little about stars it isn't even funny, but yeah, I'd love a star of my very own to wish upon each night (though you can't see stars much where I live)

Okay, it's late here but one last celebrity hug for Bobby. Enjoy the rest of your reign.
I heart BobbyBubby.
Thanks Patricia. I'm getting ready to sign off, and go pick up the boy and watch Liza on Ellen!
I come bearing stars - straight from Sammy! In your late August birthday sky, high overhead, the constellation Aquila, the eagle, soars across the summer Milky Way. This is the eagle that carries the thunderbolts of Zeus. Its brightest star, blue-white Altair - which means eagle in Arabic - is one of the three stars that make up the summer triangle, and one of the first three to appear as the sky darkens in the evening. You can defintiely tell which of the three is Altair when his brother star appears beside him in a direct straight line - they are on the wingspan of the eagle. Here he is, the brightest star in the center of the photo.
Bobby, you know I adore you and think you are one of the smartest and funniest BWWers around. Now to my question (which is somewhat similar to a question already asked, but different):
As someone with a directing background, if a producer walked up to you tomorrow and handed you a blank check to produce a revival of any show you wanted, what show would it be and why? Who would be in the cast?
Congrats again, Bobby! The pooch sends another nibble.
Love ya, man! Get your butt to NYC!

Meffie:
That's a hard one. Let's see...Well something Sondheim. Probably A Little Night Music with
Annette Bening as Desiree
Carole Carmello as Charlotte
Michael Rupert as Fredrik
Laura Benanti as Anne
Bob Cuccioli as Magnus
Elaine Stritch as Madame Armfeldt
Nancy Anderson as Petra
bwaysinger, I think NYC is going to have to wait 'til the end of the year, sigh.
Every time I read your username now, I have to sing the song.
Undiscovered:
Well, right now we have some great shows: A great production of Wonderful Town, the Seattle premiere of the stunnnig play 9 Parts of Desire, and I'm seeing The Pillowman tonight.
But in general...I'm not sure it's really a tourist paradise...The waterfront is nice, we have a lovely zoo, and some killer restraunts (my favorite The Kingfish, a souther restraunt with killer crap cakes), and it's always worth going to the top of the space needle once.
