B12 asked me which Van Gogh painting I would be and why. I was tempted to say Starry Night because then I’d be one of the most popular and recognized paintings in the world, but that’s not really me. I have to confess that I only know his more popular works, but I’d be one of his lesser-known café paintings, because they’re soothing, laid back and relaxed, which is more like my personality, when I’m not answering questions.

Boobs asked what inspires me. Oye. I can’t think of an answer that’s not going to sound cheesy, so I’ll just be honest. So many things. Beauty, humor, kindness, intelligence, good conversation, nature, especially the ocean ...

Peach asked what I order at Starbuck's. Venti non-fat caramel macchiatto. LOL. I don’t know why I bother ordering the non-fat, but for some reason, it does make me feel better.

Favorite icecream? Mint chocolate chip or chocolate peanut butter.

Hi Bustinloose! Thanks for almost nominating me, but you gotta be quick around here. So, does that mean that I don’t get a nomination speech? message board celebrity of the day (part ii) - Shameless

Favorite sushi? Salmon, which is funny because I can’t stand the sight or smell of it when it’s cooked.

In the spirit of all that is pompus and overblown, I bring you a questionare which has been answered by many a celebrity here at the Actor's Studio. Created by Bernard Pivot, they are probably the most important questions ever posed by humanity.

1. What is your favorite word?
2. What is your least favorite word?
3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
4. What turns you off?
5. What is your favorite curse word?
6. What sound or noise do you love?
7. What sound or noise do you hate?
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
9. What profession would you not like to do?
10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

Wow, I'm really falling behind.

Hi Addy! Like so many of us, I was brought here by the power of Google. I think I read the news on the main page for weeks before I saw the link for the message boards.

What’s your dream vacation? I have a list of about 30 countries I want to visit. But, I’d start with a month in Italy.

What song describes your current mood? Is there a song about someone who’s in a great mood and completely flattered, yet feeling slightly overwhelmed and flustered because people keep piling work on her desk. That one. message board celebrity of the day (part ii) - shameless I’ll have to get back to you on this one.

Rath asked what’s up with my crush on two of the women of BWW. Well, one of them is an exceptional person, but I have no idea what I see in the other. message board celebrity of the day (part ii) - shameless Kidding. They are total opposites. Almost the yin and yang of BWW, but they both make me smile whenever they’re around.

DD, I would be sneakers or flip flops, because I’m all about comfort and fun. message board celebrity of the day (part ii) - shameless

I’m still thinking about the dinner guest. Sadly, I don’t really cook much, so I’d rather take them out for whatever they wanted, preferably Italian, seafood or steak.

Red wine or white wine? Red

I'll be back.

Boobs, I would travel back in time and interview Ginger Rogers because she’s one of my favorite performers of all time. I think I’d rather just talk and try to get her to spill some good dirt instead of having a formal interview.

Moonie, if I could spend a year living anywhere in the world, with money being no object, I’d spend the winter in the Bahamas and the rest of the year in Manhattan.

Calvin, if I could eliminate anyone I would choose Hitler. For all we know, it might not have made a difference and the Holocaust may still have happened, but if there was even the slightest chance, I would take it.

If someone spelled eliminate wrong and had to go back into the message to correct it, does that make him an idiot? No. By the way, I hope I'm not being graded on grammar. Yikes.

Cookie, my ideal meal varies with my mood, but I’ll say a good steak, cooked medium rare (sorry harris) or Lobster Thermidor. My favorite comfort food is any dessert involving chocolate.

Thanks to everyone who’s stopped in, I’ll have to go back through and re-read tonight.

YWIW, asked what event in my life most represents my user name. Now, that’s a tough one. I don’t have one, unless you include my flirting with a few of the women of BWW. Honestly, if my friends and family knew that this was my screen name they would laugh because there is nothing brazen about me.
I chose the name because I love the song. It’s about a guy who always put up emotional walls and unfortunately, I can relate. But, then he finds someone who makes him want to tear them down. It’s hopeful.

Kitz asked:

1. What is your favorite word? Yes.
2. What is your least favorite word? Stupid, especially when said to, or about a child.
3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? humor
4. What turns you off? viciousness
5. What is your favorite curse word? F*ck
6. What sound or noise do you love? Waves breaking on the beach
7. What sound or noise do you hate? Lightning striking, bones breaking
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Journalist
9. What profession would you not like to do? Anything involving blood.
10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? I loved Dollypop’s answer. I wouldn’t mind seeing that show. Or maybe just a simple, “Welcome Home!”

Cookie, asked about my favorite condiment. I’m not really a big fan of the condiment. I hate ketchup. I will put a little deli mustard on a turkey sandwich or honey mustard on chicken tenders, but that’s about it.

Papa said, “you can erase one of the three following world leaders from the history of time thus changing the history of recorded time from that point forward, who would it be and why?”

joseph stalin, adolf hitler or george bush?

Tough choice. I’d erase all three in a heartbeat. I still have to say Hitler, for wiping out entire generations of families in unthinkable ways.

What is your favorite pig-out food? Ice cream or Tollhouse chocolate chip cookies, preferably both together.

What was your favorite childhood toy? That’s a toss up between my Barbies and my brother’s G.I. Joes. Explains a lot, doesn’t it? message board celebrity of the day (part ii) - shameless

What was your favorite class in college? In-depth reporting. The professor made us read our stories out loud, which of course was terrifying for me, but I learned more in that class than in the 3 previous years of school.

Sorry pattifan, I missed your question the first time through.

Question - you have to entertain the Queen of England for the day. What would you do with her?

If she was willing, I’d take her fishing with my family. There’s a good chance that no actual fish would be caught, but she could work on her tan.

That reminds me, Craig, that’s a great picture. Every once in a while, I talk about getting certified. I love the water and have great respect for it. However, my family is very big into deep-sea fishing. I’ve not only seen pictures, but have also witnessed some huge and scary things come out of the water on the end of a hook. I’m just not sure I really want to be down there with them, without a quick escape route.

What is your favorite herb, shameless? Cookie, without a doubt, garlic.
