I've always thought that when someone is named MBCotD, they should be given the day off from work to celebrate and play with others.

Well, had I told anyone at work about this, it just would have confirmed their suspicions that I spend way too much time online.

What one day in your life would you want to live over again and why?
Oh boy. I do believe in fate and I think everything that’s happened to me, or for me, has gotten where I am today. Having said that, I wouldn’t mind going back the basketball game in my junior year of high school, when I blew out my knee. It was just a freak thing, and maybe it would’ve happened anyway, but sometimes I wonder if I could’ve done something differently and prevented it. Wow, that sounds so depressing.
There are a lot of great days that I wouldn't mind reliving, for example, the days that my nieces were born were both pretty perfect.

Are we annoying you with our questions yet? No, I’m just bored with myself. I know all these answers and stories already.

Let's say we go out with your best friend for a couple of drinks. You leave for a moment to use the powder room. What embarassing story would we hear from your best friend while you were gone?

DD, I can only think of one and it works much better in person, because you have to see us reenact the scene. But, here goes.

When we were in high school. We were at the mall and decided to go into the pet store. There we are, looking at the puppies and kittens minding our own business, when we here people start shrieking and screaming. So, we turn to look and, all I see is this big blue blur flying right at us. Meg, my best friend, runs like hell. I didn’t even have time to run, so I just dropped to the floor.

It was a big macaw and it was squawking and flapping its wings like crazy, and then it landed on my head. Everyone in the store is just standing there frozen. No one who works there has a clue what to do, and they all look like they’re deathly afraid of this thing.

So, now, I’m on my knees with a big blue and yellow bird on my head that’s throwing a fit. After a few seconds, everyone is just laughing hysterically. I’m laughing too, but I’m also worried that this thing is gonna freak out even more and start ripping my hair out.

Then the owner comes running out from the back office and yelling, “What are you doing with that bird? What the hell are you doing? Don’t hurt him. Do you know how much that bird costs? If you've done anything to that bird ..."

I said, “Lady, I didn’t do a thing to your f*cking bird. It attacked me.” She muttered something about me provoking it. Then she took the bird off of my head and kicked us out. The end.

You really have to see our reenactment.

If you could go back to any time period, when would it be and why?

Are we talking any time in history or in my life? In history, I’d go to the 50’s. Things were so simple back then and, you could buy a burger for a dime.

I wouldn’t go back to any period in my life. I had a happy childhood and a good high school experience, but I still wouldn’t want to go back.

What is the best memory that you have? Thankfully, there isn’t just one that stands out. I already said it, but the days that my nieces were born. The day I settled on my townhouse was a good day. The day I figured out what I wanted to do with my life, and then there are countless holidays and Christmas mornings.

If you could be anything when you grow up, what would it be?
Filthy rich.

What is your favorite T.V. show/channel? Law & Order, but my favorite show of all time is still Buffy. Favorite channel is currently TCM.

Bso, nobody asked me anything Broadway related, which is just as well. I’m still kind of a newbie. I didn’t see my first show until I was 25 years old. But, I’ve been making up for lost time. In two, years I’ve seen 16 shows in New York and 20 on tour in Florida. My relatives think I’m insane.

Some of my favorites, in no particular order, are Aida, Rent, Chicago, Sweeney Todd, Oklahoma and Wicked.

I’ve only seen Idina live in See What I Wanna See and I was very impressed. I thought the whole cast was fantastic. But, to me, she’ll always be Maureen. My Maureen.

Ok, I’m here. I’m ready.

Thanks again to everyone who stopped in and congratulated me and said such nice things (all true, by the way). But, some of you give me way too much credit in this thread just for being nosy. Iflit and the first few celebrities that followed her deserve most of the credit for tolerating me and playing along. And, everyone who’s taken part, in a positive way, has made this thread such a nice diversion.

Now, back to my choice. I made a long list of people whose posts I read on a regular basis. Then, I started eliminating names for no good reason, until I was left with one.

This person is someone that I don’t know well and that I’ve only talked to a couple of times. All I know for sure is that she seems sweet and funny and (thanks to BWW Idol) that she has the speaking voice of a phone sex operator. Hot! Not that I call phone sex operators and no, Rath, I’m not hitting on her.
