what inspires you?
Having known people who have taken on so many obstacles in life, and watching them still embrace life and smile.
If you were a wine, what wine would you be and why?
To paraphrase a David Yazbeck lyric, a sincere Sancerre.
Some characteristics of a Sancerre:
This clear, light straw-color wine shows a greenish-brassy hue in the glass. Classic Sauvignon Blanc aromas blend a characteristic "grassy" quality with appetizing notes of citrus. Crisp flavors offer fresh citric fruit over mouth-watering acidity, with an attractive, cleansing lemon-peel tang in the long, clean finish.
Favorite wines? White would be a Sancerre. Reds currently between a Morrelino di Scansano, which is just a perfect anytime red. And a Chateauneuf-du-Pape, perfect for any red meat dish.
what is your favorite bubbly in the $20.00 range?
Difficult to say, as wine prices do differ from state to state. You can't go wrong with most Proseccos...
What's something that you've never done, but have always wanted to try?
Climbing to the top of the Sydney Harbor Bridge. I'm terrified of heights.
Tell us something that you think we'd be surprised to know about you?
I dunno. I suppose that depends on what is thought about me. And I can't speculate there...
