Thanks again, everyone. Good to see you, Jess---hope all is well at the old alma mater!

I know that my reign isn't technically over until 10 o'clock this morning, but by that time I'll be at work and won't have an oppotunity to post my choice of successor. So, I am going to get that over with now.

This was a very hard decision, and at one point, my list of possible choices was twenty names long. Well, twenty became ten, and ten became five, and five became one.

The poster I have chosen has, at times, had me laughing so hard that I was literally gasping for air. She infuses her posts with a dry, urbane wit reminiscent of Dorothy Parker herself. We also tend to agree a lot, but that's just an added perk.

So, ladies and gentlemen, please take your hats off to the message board celebrity of the day, January 19, 2006...
