Shall we have cupcakes this afternoon to celebrate?

Only if they are chocolate with vanilla icing.
*throws cupcakes at boobs, ruining his suit*
those cupcakes are so pretty and happy i could just CRY!
They're perfect!
Meffie gets the first one!
Melissa probably has heard of or seen your signature, so you've made her happy. That girl deserves lots of love (and a medal) for flashing her boobies in that piece of dreck 'Dracula.'
MEF, since you've already answered a question, I'm assuming that you're willing to participate. But, as I'm sure you know, you're under no obligation to answer any question that makes you uncomfortable. So, here goes.
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?

GG - I thought they were, too - I'm just afraid people might think I'm gay.
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
If I give an honest answer, I might get banned...
I bet his answer won't be Rath...hee hee *cleans suit*
*kicks Boobs and runs*
MEF..if you could slap 1 person..who would it be and why?
If you could take one week and do whatever you wanted to no matter the cost, distance, etc... what would you do?
That one is easy: I would take a weeklong vacation in Bayern, Germany.
All right, let me re-phrase.
What has given you the most (non-sexual and non-criminal) pleasure in the last year?
Laura Benanti's performance in the Secret Garden concert. Borderline orgasmic.

MEF - I'm kind of interested (well, very interested, actually) in the question that SmartPenguin asked about what you teach, and how you feel about being a teacher.
I have very high regard for people in that profession - and besides, us penguin lovers have to stick together
No problem, DG.
I teach high school English in the public school system here in New York. This year, I am teaching seniors, after a decade teaching juniors. I truly find the work to be very rewarding and on several occasions, rather life changing. It's a privilege to share your time and, in a way, your life with a group of young people, even if it is only for a brief period of time.
I come from a family with many teachers (both of my parents and two of my siblings), and as a child, I had less than zero interest in joining the profession. However, after almost 13 years as an educator, I seriously cannot imagine myself doing anything else. The people I've met---both my co-workers and my students alike---have profoundly altered my life.
Teachers rule!
An English teacher!
*PalJoey quickly tries to see if a parody lyric can be fashioned from the Bye Bye Birdie lyric...*
re: gay cupcakes -- not really DG but the hint of Lagerfeld and the Shirley Bassey in the background were dead giveaways, though.

MEF - that's wonderful - and it's so nice to hear someone say they LIKE being a teacher! One of my good friends has taught high school English for many years, and she heads up the literary magazine (national award winning, she would want pointed out ), which she gives me a copy of. It is astonishing what you can run across written by these young people.
Thanks for the answer MEF, as a former History Teacher (now on hiatus) I salute you.
I am so glad you enjoy it. You seem to have that spunk and spark that all the great teachers need.
As well as being literate and witty, which is a stretch for many.
Well, guys, I'm taking my leave of the board for the day. I just want to thank everyone profusely again for this distinct honor. I've started by list possible contenders for tomorrow, and will post my final decision at around 6:30 am. Thanks so much again!

Thanks for your answers today, MEF, and for your contributions to the board that help to keep us somewhat out of the gutter
