You can't answer a simple direct question. How can you expect people to believe anything you say. Is this what you teach your students? If you don't have an answer, deflect?

Come on, Mark, how hard can it be to explain the things that you wrote. You after all, are the one who wrote them. No one forced you to sit at the keyboard and write any of those lies, you did it yourself. Why can't you just own up to the fact, that you fabricate. You make up things to get attention.

You don't even offer opinions, you offer facts, and when someone ask for substantiation you have nothing to offer.

Simple questions have been asked of you. Nothing more, yet you don't have the wherewithal to answer any of them. Your a phony, in more ways than one.

Out of complete morbid curiousity

What is it that you hope to accomplish? Are you just posting ad infinitum to "stir the pot" - or do you think you will actually change anybody's opinion of the subject matter or of you?

Are you seeking validation for your commentary?

Are you seeking an attempt to debate?

Are you practicing your cut and pasting skills?

Is your blog (shared or not) not enough of an outlet?

I'm GENUINELY curious as to what motivates you and what you see as your ultimate scenario after you post. The rest of those qualifying questions are rhetorical.

Last year, Congress passed legislation with broad bipartisan support to expand funding for embryonic stem cell research beyond the 2001 limits set by President Bush. In response, Bush issued the first veto of his presidency. When Congress returns from recess, it will again revive debate on funding for new embryonic stem cell research. Bush has already vowed another veto.

Even Bush’s own scientists disagree with his position on stem cell research. Last month, Dr. Elias Zerhouni, Bush’s appointee as director of the National Institutes of Health, said that “American science will be better served — and the nation will be better served — if we let our scientists have access to more cell lines that they can study with the different methods that have emerged since 2001.”

Furthermore, polling done this year shows that the Bush is at odds with the public, as “now a solid and consistent majority says that it wants to move forward with research”

But if liberals had their way, Kerry would be President, Sadaam would still be in power, we would be friends with Iran, Osama Obama would be found, the cold war would still be on, and Algore would have us all living as peasants while he buys "crabon credits."

I support Stem-cell research because it helped my Aunt. SHe had cancer and was supposed to die in 6 months, and she has recovered.

I support stem cell research too. Private funding for the research is not regulated at this moment. Research should be going forward at a great pace. Tax dollars are a different matter.
