I know this post is coming a little bit late, but I thought I'd post my opinion on the topic anyway.
As most know, Michael Richards recently went on a racial rant. If you haven't seen the video, you can find it on most sites that supply online free videos.
I first want to address a similar time when Richards had been out of control. I've done my research and have found a situation where Richards dealt with a heckler by hitting him over the head with a guitar (you can find this online). In this earlier situation, you can see in the video that people say things such as "that was unnecessary" as he insults the hecklers and claim that they went after him. Also in the video, he insults both Oklahoma and gays. He first insults Oklahoma and then says "I guess if you were gay you'd be in Oklahoma." This is inappropriate and wrong to say in public. In my opinion, he's a bigot.
Secondly, he goes on a racial rant that is appalling. I cringed when I watched it. Insulting blacks is wrong and uncalled for. Michael Richards does not deserve the respect of the public nor does he deserve a third chance. He is a danger to the audience.
In my opinion, Michael Richards is a bigot. His apologies mean nothing. Thankfully, this event was made public enough so that comedy clubs will think twice before allowing him to perform. It serves him right.

How f****ing arrogant.
As if your view is any more or less valid than any other person's view on this board. People can easily reply TO your opinion on an already existing thread.

Probably because this topic has been discussed to death, and if you really have interest in what we have to say about it, you could read the several already established threads.
But, in reality, you don't really care what any of us have to say about the incident at all, you just want to know what we have to say about what you said.

You mean we should leave the same ignorant racial imbecile who justified his actions by saying "this is what happens when you interrupt the white man" in a public comedy club alone? I don't think so. Sorry if you want to be complicit in what he did, but he deserves all that has been coming to him.
