hmmm it was too bad Anderson Cooper wasn't hosting his own show. Some female reporter did the interview. Disappointing. :)

She says we should move past the Wright business.

Oh ok, well that makes it all better then. We should just, you know, ignore it.

And she mentioned how proud she was that bammy came out and said he was outraged. This was apparently a very difficult thing for him to do.

Is she for real? THIS was difficult? To be outraged at a racist's comments? Dear god, help us if he ever needs to make a simple and easy decision like dealing with terrorism or the economy.

MEREDITH VIEIRA: Michelle, do you feel that the Reverend Wright betrayed your husband?

MICHELLE OBAMA: I think Barack has spoken so clearly and eloquently about this.

MEREDITH VIEIRA: But do you personally feel that the Reverend Wright...

MICHELLE OBAMA: You know what I think Meredith? I think we gotta move forward. You know, this conversation doesn't help my kids. You know, it doesn't help kids out there who are looking for us to make decisions and choices about how we're going to better fund education.

I did not see the interview, but actually, that is the right answer for Wright - try to diminish his importance as compared to the real issues faced by most Americans...

I kind of like Michelle. I find her honesty and candor refreshing.

I'm not saying she should rehash it, but they should be taking every chance they get to condemn Wright and let people know he is no longer someone they trust or are involved with.

By avoiding the subject they are silently approving of his remarks.

Meredith Viera is such a horrible interviewer. She was all "star struck", and kissy kissy to Michelle Obama. I kept thinking she was going to get on her knees and go down on her any second.

And not to be mean - but who really cares what this woman has to say?
