I'm typing a paper, and in the middle of it, something happened with my tabs. Now when I hit tab, it changes to right alignment. I went into Format --> paragraph and then to the tabs option, and changed alignment from right to left, but it keeps changing itself back.

Does anyone know how to get it to stay? I hate when word does these automatic formatting things. Please help!

Edit -- I dragged the little ruler back and it's fine.

Hmmm, that's really wierd. I always have problems with my tabs, but that's never happened before. Usually, when I hit tab it will move the entire thing over the amount the tab is, instead of just the line I want. I've figured out how to fix that, but I don't think that's the same thing you're talking about. Sorry. :-/
