Ok, my title was meant to be a joke. But apparantly this marriage between a woman and a dolphin is not.
Sorry if it's been brought up before...

Posted: 2/27/06 at 1:12pmThis reminds me or the ceremonies my brother and I would perform in which we'd each "marry" our dog Maggie. Of course, I was ten and he was seven, so I guess it's not really the same thing.

As long as you didn't take advantage of "your rights as a huband", then it's two completely different situations.

Posted: 2/27/06 at 1:15pmnot the same thing at all. Your story is cute, Kringas. I even went "ahhh" as I read it. But a woman marrying a dolphin is just crazy disturbing.

Posted: 2/27/06 at 1:18pmAt least it wasn't a female dolphin, because then it would count toward the destruction of the institution of marriage.

Of course not. She was a bitch, though.
Yeah, I thought this woman was beyond sad and just downright creepy.

Posted: 2/27/06 at 1:57pmThe really disturbing part though is that you just know the people who oppose gay marriage with the argument that people will want to marry their pets next will just gobble this up.

If that is all it takes, then I as a gay man feel the need to marry another man in order to ward off the evil eye of homophobia! There - I think that works.

Posted: 2/27/06 at 5:38pmNo, what's disturbing is a title suggesting that those in middle-age without a significant other are in need of hope.

Who was in the wedding party? Was there a best dolphin?
Where are they going to live? Adoption is an option.
