I have an audition tonight to be a contestant on "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire" for the Netflix week.
I took the test about a year ago and failed, so I figured I might actually have a prayer of passing a test of all film questions.
I am very nervous, and I don't really know why. I guess it's because if I pass the test, I will have to interview with some of the production staff. It would be a shame if I passed the test, but they just didn't like my personality.
Has anyone on here done this before, made it to the audition, or just has any advice?
Thanks, and wish me luck!

I was a contestant on both Win Ben Stein's Money and Jeopardy!, but I've never auditioned for Millionaire, so I'm not sure how on-point my advice will be...
All I can suggest is to be yourself in the interview. Or, should I say, the most outgoing, camera-friendly version of yourself you can be. Game show producers like outgoing, friendly people with fun personalities. (Well, maybe not so much on Jeopardy!, now that I think about it...hehehe) But anyway, try not to be nervous, and just have fun. That's really the most important thing. If you can look like you're having fun while playing the game, then the audience is free to have fun with you, and that translates into a fun show to watch. =)
GOOD LUCK!

No suggestions, but a girl that once hooked up with my former boyfriend (while we were together) was on the show and won like $250,000.

I don't know how to react to that story. It's a bit...icky. =(

Blueroses: I won on Win Ben Stein's Money. I mean, I actually beat Ben Stein, which was pretty cool. The top prize on that show was just $5,000, though. Which was nice, don't get me wrong, but it's nothing compared to Millionaire or Deal or No Deal... Anyway, I did not win on Jeopardy. However, I did at least make it into Final Jeopardy, so I still left with $1,000, which wasn't a bad consolation prize!
Thanks for the tips, but it looks like I got all worked up for nothing.
I did not pass the test.
I had a gut feeling going in that it was going to be nearly all about movies that I either haven't seen it years, or saw once and can't stand. There were some questions I knew regarding movies like CHICAGO, PHILADELPHIA, SOPHIE'S CHOICE, MYSTIC PIZZA, AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN, etc.
But generally, they were from movies I did not like and subsequently forgot everything about, ie: GHOST, COMING TO AMERICA, BOWFINGER, AUSTIN POWERS, HARRY POTTER, SPINAL TAP, ISHTAR, MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING, etc.
Bummer, but I'm over it.
That's too bad, munk. I was really rooting for you. (Damn!)
