Mini Ipod question

what is the difference between a mini ipod and a normal ipod -- besides the obvious. Which one is better?

I got a mini, figuring I'd never fill up something that can hold 1000 songs. I was very wrong. You'll use it up far faster than you anticipate, so you might as well shell out fifty more dollars for a regular size. Go to apple's website if you want details about all of the available products.

i dont know what the obvious is... but a mini can only hold about 1000 songs, and its cheaper.

and then i think theres 3 other ipods, 20, 40, and 60GB. (im not sure if thats right) i have a 20GB and it hold about 5000 songs but it costs about $100 more.

Just go ahead and waste your money on the regular iPod. You get more for you money, so to speak. Check out Apple's clever strategy (clever, but I loathe it):

4 GB mini: $189.05 - $47.2625 per GB

6 GB mini: $236.55 - $39.425 per GB

20 GB: $284.99 - $14.2495 per GB

40 GB: $379.05 - $9.47625 per GB

Minis hold 4 GB
Regular ones hold 20 or 30 (depending on what one you buy)
there's also a red and black U2 iPod. :)

the obvious is that the mini ipod is smaller than the normal ipod

haha i know a couple people who have them. i think that those leather iPod cases are ugly, the blue and pink ones. no offense to anbyody who has one lol. somehow my ipod headphones broke and im pissed. lol.

I was going to get a mini because I wanted a pink iPod, but I knew I'd go over 1000 songs.... and 50 bucks more for 4,000 more songs with a regular iPod was definitely worth it for me.
