She's a friend of mine.
She's very talented and just auditioned for Guys And Dolls at teh Hollywood Bowl and got the entire casting team to do a short video with her.
Miranda is a character she does, and she's gone viral.

random: Do you know if she's going to be doing any singing as Colleen at these NY events? Or is it just Miranda who will be there? (Miranda's fun on video and all, but I'm actually really interested in hearing Colleen sing live.)

Who cares. You make it sound like this is so special because they auditioned for GUYS & DOLLS at The Hollywood Bowl. Anyone can do that - Equity or Non...

The difference is, she auditioned for the Hollywood Bowl as her web persona and got the entire casting team to play along with the joke.
