Well, I can understand how this mistake was assumed, but I am not gay.
1) Obsessed with Broadway.
2) Favorite shows include, among others, Will & Grace and Trading Spaces.
3) Favorite musical is Peter Pan.
4) Want to act on Broadway.
5) Not so much into sports.
6) Favorite movies include Moulin Rouge and The Truman Show.
7) Love figure skating. Watch each year's competitions.
Will only listen to showtunes and no other music.
9) Hosts Oscar parties and Tony parties.
(No one take offense).
And so today, a friend I've known for a few years was shocked to learn that I wasn't gay. She said she would have asked me out a couple years back if she knew.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."
