re: Mistaken as gay.

Ah, bisexuality.

First stop on the train to BIG NANCY HOMO TOWN*!

I pulled into the station for one night.

* Only applies to men. Women are SO bisexual.

re: Mistaken as gay.

Not all women are bisexual, RobbieJ.
I wish I were.
But I'm just not that lucky.

Bisexuality is really a gift.
To be a lover of the people.
To be able to fish in both ponds.
Or maybe bisexual people are just greedy.
Eh, it's still a gift.

re: Mistaken as gay.

This is the second message about "wishing to be gay" and "i'm not lucky enough to be gay." I haven't heard anything so lovely in all my 41 years (34 if it's a drink special and past 2:00 am.)

re: Mistaken as gay.

I have gotten used to people thinking that I am gay. And I really don't care about it anymore. I know I am bi, but leaning more towards tha gay side of it. But people ats chool have called me gay since middle school because:

~Most of my friends are girls
~I love musicals
~Not into normal sports at all
~I know stuff about movies and theater
~I work at a library
~And a bunch of other reasons

Even if someone is gay what should it matter, I dont think that it should change the way you think about someone or treat them. Grrrr Stupid predjudiced people.

Uh oh.. he is leaning.. just alittle more and he'll fall right in!

re: Mistaken as gay.

Well I'm bi-coastal, actually found out I was a week from today.

-Obsessed with broadway
-Aspire to be on broadway
-All musicals are my favorite
-Angesl in America is my favorite play(s)
-Except I like sports, I play soccer
-Transitioned from punk music to showtunes in about a year.

Here's the thing. There's no such thing as sexuality, your attracted to whoever your attracted to, wether they be male, female, or a goat.

re: Mistaken as gay.

yes yes, sexuality is liquid.

re: Mistaken as gay.

I can't remember, was it good?

Edward Albee wrote a play called "The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?"
Just curious.

Haven't read it, except what people have written about it on this messageboard. I thought it would be funny mentioning it.

re: Mistaken as gay.

Yeah, all i need is a little shove. But the area where i live is kinda conservative. Can't wait until college, though.

re: Mistaken as gay.

i've gotten the same reaction from people
-broadway fan
-does all the shows in school
-has gay friends
-sports not a part of my life
-not an asshole, aka sensible and caring (which makes me wonder about the world if som1 who is sensible and caring is questioned)
-aspires (no pun intended) to be on broadway

this small town i live in gets so close minded sometimes, my gay friends are always under pressure, college will hopefully an open minded place for me and others.

re: Mistaken as gay.

People always think I'm gay, too. I

-I Love Theatre
-Have gay friends
-Hate Sports
-Sleep With Men

I don't know why they think that.
"Noah, someday we'll talk again. But there's things we'll never say. That sorrow deep inside you. It inside me, too. And it never go away. You be okay. You'll learn how to lose things..."

re: Mistaken as gay.

CATS, if you are attracted to both men and women, then I would guess you are bi.

Matt_G, you are my hero.

re: Mistaken as gay.

Well, I'm not really attracted to women sexually at all, but I don't find them gross to look at or anything. I'm just mad that all the porn on HBO always focuses on the women. They show the women completely naked, and as for the guys we only get to see a butt and that's only if we're really REALLY lucky...

re: Mistaken as gay.

Sorry, but I am not bi or gay. I can feel it in my heart. I tried saying out loud "I am gay" but it didn't feel right. I don't have sexual desire for men, but plenty for women.

But...if someone wants to convert me, I have a few bills and student loans that have to be paid off... re: Mistaken as gay.

(That would make me a gay ho?)
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."
