Okay, someone on the main board just listed the song Mix Tape from Avenue Q in the thread about "Worst Songs from Best Musicals" or something. I considered putting this on that thread, but it seemed out of place. However, I want you all to know how pathetic I am. So I'm posting it here.

I made myself the mixtape that Princeton made for Kate.
Yes, I'm a huge dork.
Technically, it's a CD and not a tape, but cloes enough.
I put on all the songs that are mentioned in the song and I put Mix Tape as the last track.
My mother, who does not know Avenue Q, keeps the CD in her car and plays it frequently.
I think it's funny.
Yay for me being a geek!

Question:

When Kate sings "moving right along...", is she just saying that, or is the song "Moving Right Along" from The Muppet Movie one of the songs on the mix tape?

I find it ironic that Princeton would put a Muppet song on the tape!

In the lyrics, MOVING RIGHT ALONG has quotation marks just like the other songs mentioned in the tune, so I guess she's referring to the Muppet song and not doing a segue.

A.S., burn a copy for me.
Then place it in an airport locker (number 133 at DET).
My courier will pick it up, then transport it to an unmarked swiss vault.
After it is cleansed and repackaged, my intern will pick up the package and bring ir to me.

That's such a funny idea! My friend and I made a mix cd with songs from our favorite shows, and we put Mix Tape as the last song. Good times.

Bwahahahaha! I was the one who started that thread and put Mix Tape as least fav song in Ave Q.

And you know what, I'm gonna make myself "The Miz Tape" too. Call me a hypacrite (what is the spelling?)

I must say I don't HATE the song but it's my least favorite in the musical. Heehee

Because, ruvvie, it's easier to say friend instead of iruvyou, and it's not as confusing for other posters.

I had the cd of avenue Q for months in my table without hearing at...
I read this post a few days ago, and I listened the song... AND I CAN'T STOP HEARING THE CD!!!!
in fact, right now I'm compiling the songs to make the mix tape
