This is the first show to successfully combine the zaniness of shows like The Office, 30 Rock and Arrested Development with REAL, believable people who you actually care about.

blueroses, I can only take but so much of him for some reason. The clown episode actually did it for me. He's just a bit to much for me. I do like most of the rest of the characters though. Especially Phil. Ty Burrell is kinda hot and I just love the way he plays the character.

Phil still creeps me the hell out. I just don't think I ever got over my early impressions of him, so now every time he's supposed to be awkward I still kind of shudder. That said, he was a lot easier to bear in the "role playing" scene in the last episode, with Claire gently mocking him at the bar.

Manny is quite possibly the best child character I've ever seen, though. I love him.

I tuned in right as he was walking up to her at the bar so I was totally confused as to what was going on at first. It was a funny scene.

I love Manny!

The episode where he tells Mitchell how bad his mother is at driving is hysterical.

And when he lit that kid's bike on fire. And sported the drawn on goatee.

Its a very funny show with a great cast and great writers but i think The Middle is better and 30 Rock
