Montgomery Lovell Pascal?!

Well, I just heard that Adam's new baby finally arrived. Does anyone else think Montgomery Lovell is a horrible name?? Lennon was bad enough but it was kind of cute...I am now convinced Cybele is brainwashing my Adam!!!

Adam only makes baby boys =) I never heard of a girl called Montgomery?
Anyway i still think the name is yuck, it always makes me think of Montgomery Burns from the Simpsons! =/

Princess, I think you and the other Rentheads should start a petition to make Adam change his baby's name! Rentheads know what's best for anything and everything in any way even tangentially connected to the greatest musical ever written, no the greatest work of art ever created by mortal man!

Here's the template:


We, the undersigned, hereby request the court to legally change the name of Adam Pascal's son, Montgomery Lovell (Oh my god, judge, can you BELIEVE they would pick that name!?!!) to Angel Dumont Roger (hereafter referred to as "Angel.") We feel Angel Pascal is a more fitting name for the son of the OBC Roger in the musical RENT, and more accurately reflects the expectations and hopes of the fans of RENT, without whom Adam would be nothing.

Personally, I think Montgomery is a cool, offbeat name that isn't Justin or Jason, for which I am grateful. My hunch is Lovett is a family name.

But if the Rentheads think it's wrong, who am I to argue.

Personally, I like the name. You can call him (i am assuming its a boy) Monty for short! I like the fact that the names arent so common!

actually it's a remarkably strong and distinctive name.

but i am shocked, shocked i tell you that adam and what's her name did not consult us here on the baord first. i mean surely they knew that we are much better arbiters of names than either they or their friends and family. i know that i for one will be waiting outside rehearsals with a sign letting him know exactly what i think of him for this heinous act of treachery!! we are his fans and we deserve to have some input on decisions that we'll have to live with for the rest of our lives! how can he and that cow be so selfish???? i'm just to upset to speak about it anymore!

this entire thread cracks me up - why I'm posting on it in that case is beyond me, but whatever - but especially Namo's post. Too funny. I won't, however, be signing the petition.
As the self-proclaimed world's hugest (yes, I know, it's not a word) Adam Pascal fan - and also knowing that my world would be a much happier place if he was not married, not nearly twice my age and did not have children - does it really matter?

No, it doesn't. And by the way, he's *my* Adam. Greekmusicalfan and I have already established this. Sorry, couldn't resist. Speaking of GMF, where are you?!
Let him and Cybele name their kids whatever they want. Sure, Montgomery Lovell isn't your everyday name, but neither is Lennon Jay (which I loooove by the way). Honestly, whatever makes them happy.
More importantly, are we assuming that Montgomery is a boy? This has actually been bugging TheGirlInTheFrock and I for days. Somehow we can't picture Adam having daughters, but we can't figure out why. Whatever.
In any case, congratulations to Adam and to Cybele... who knows, maybe the kids will grow up to look just like their dad!

I figure about the time that Monty turns 18, someone will be itching to do a Rent revival. So Monty and Adam will switch off every night playing Roger and Mark.
