It comes as no surprise, but Fox has once again reported completely false information. This time, they've taken a piece of information (some Illinois counties were late in sending absentee ballots to soldiers) and fabricated a false report, playing off the history of Chicago politics. If you believe Fox, in Chicago "Convicts Vote, Soldiers Don't". Reality, which has no bearing at Fox, says otherwise.

They rely on stupid viewers. If they're smart that means they are elitist and liberal. Fox does not even try anymore. People who watch Fox will believe ANYTHING, no matter what.

This "Cook country didn't send out absentee ballots" rumor has been buzzing around Illinois Tea Bags for a couple weeks now. And when one conservative told me this story I asked him "If Illinois democrats wanted to tamper with votes, why would they do it it in one of the most solidly Democratic counties in the country? There are downstate Illinois counties that turn out 80-90 percent Republican votes. Why try to depress the vote in a solidly Blue area?"

He was dumbfounded.

It would be an event if Fox reported patently true information.
