I'm so very sorry. I'm sure he's in a much better and happier place now. Being hospitalized for 2 months sounds just horrible. Bless him and bless you!

My grandmother died during the summer of 2002, also due to various problems. She was always very frail when I knew her and was hospitalized for a while before she died. She lied about her age, but we think she was about 91 when she died as well. I'm very sorry to hear about your grandfather. I send my condolences to you and your family.

I just wanted to add my condolences and deepest sympathy for your loss. It's wonderful you were blessed to have had a grandfather in your life for so long. (Both of mine had passed away by the time I was 8.) My prayers are with you and your family.
