Because Obama's presidency will be documented in a feature film which will be turned into a Broadway musical featuring a score of hits by Kool and the Gang and run for 20 years.

Joe, I don't think goth could be any clearer: Obama is a "tourist" president because Hillary Clinton announced new funding to the Palestinian Authority.

No, Goth, you said he is using his position to be a tourist. Has he traveled more or less than Bush or Clinton? Too much? Has he spent more? You said he was a Toruist, why do you say that?

In Obama's first year, he travelled more than any other POTUS.

In addition, some of his trips were completely unnecessary (his trip to hear the US wasn't going to host the Olympics being one example).

Goth any lasting peace will involve some sort of two-state solution.

The last President that tried was Clinton, and he got very close.

It may well end up with the Palestinians giving up Gaza and getting land back in the West Bank. But, in order for anything to happen you need a viable Palestinian government that is not linked to Hamas and Palestinian people who respect the authority of their government and its ability to make a deal.

Without a functioning Palestinian government to negotiate with, nothing will happen. Which I guess is fine if all you care about is Jerusalem being solely in the hands of the Jews and just want to wave "so long" once they are "left behind" (if you believe that fairy tale).

Many who claim to support Israel only view it as a means to and end, and do not give a crap about its long-term survival. Israel may as well be a drug mule for operation salvation.

Traveled abroad.

So he went to countries like Iraq and Afghanistan because he always wanted to visit them and used his ascension to the presidency to finally scratch that itch? is that what you're really saying?

Between visits to his ranch and Camp David, Bush spent 977 days (more than 2.5 YEARS) vacationing while in office.

When faced with facts, from a non-Fox source, all you can do is "But, but, but Bush".

But goth, the numbers are meaningless unless you're comparing them to SOMETHING, no?

I mean, are you arbitrarily saying 10 overseas trips is imperically wrong? Surely you can only make ANY kind of point by comparing that number to something else--say, another president's number of trips during a similar period.

Otherwise we're left with "It's wrong simply because Obama did it."

In other words, goth, you can't say someone is the most or worst something and then ignore comparisons.

YOU set up the comparisons, not those of us who have tried to respond.
