Wait, wait . . . let me check . . .

Nope, not surprised.

While nobody likes to pay taxes, and it's not popular to say, our taxes need to be higher, and more progressive toward the wealthy. That said, $250k is not wealthy, and we need more brackets, probably at least two more. We also need to fix our corporate tax laws. Each of us pay more in taxes than some of the largest corporations in the country.

While I'm at it, we need to address Social Security, and that can only be done by implementing a higher retirement age, and sooner rather than later. Again, I don't want to work longer, but the current age rules were put in place when life expectancy was much shorter than it is now. Defense and Social Security have to be addressed if we're ever going to get our house in order.

I read it was NOT permanent, but a temporary, two-year extension.

Not great, just kicking the can down the road to a time when hopefully the economy is in better shape.

I personally would approve of creating an additional tax bracket for those upper middle class and the truly wealthy - but that is just me.

Why don't you, seeing as how your party is responsible for the ever-mounting expenses of the war? Do you think that money to pay for it comes out of thin air?

So Goth you did it again. Obama has NOT spent more than any other President on travel. He's done far far far less "personal travel" than any president in recent memory. But for some reason YOU think he's spending too much.

So now, please, tell us why. Give us some facts on why you think he's a "tourist" president.

And I'm still waiting for why you think he's sinister, too so I'm not real optimistic you'll back up this falsehood.
