Love this. No, it's not subtle. No, it doesn't represent every gender expression and identity (nor every racial minority), and yeah, it's for a ridiculously overly priced "collectible" item which is a total and utter waste of money, but seeing a commercial like this when I was a kid would have been unthinkable. I'm surprised that the same crowd that went nuts on Starbucks' war on Christmas hasn't lost their marbles over this one yet.
