The Boston Herald thsi morning published it's top ten list of the most beautiful women ever. Number one was Audrey Hepburn. Although she was very beautiful, my pick would have been Liz Taylor, who didn't even make the top ten.
What do you all think? In your opinion who is/was the most beautiful woman ever?
Ever?
That's impossible. I'm sure there were many people in the 1700 and 1800's that were gorgeous.
As for the most beautiful woman of our time... so subjective.
I can't even narrow it down.
I think that Audrey Hepburn was gorgeous in her day. Today, Charlize Theron, Ashley Judd, Nicole Kidman... all beautiful.
My personal favorite du jour is Jessica Alba.
Isabella Roselini. GORGEOUS.
Well, it was the rag newspaper that called the contest Most Beautiful EVER...let's just say of the last century then.
This is also the paper that left off it's list women like Sophia Loren, Raquel Welch, Grace Kelly and Rita Hayworth...so, you can't take them too seriously
oh come one isa's not even as hot as her mom. i put ava gardner up there right with a young hedy lamarr. currently, i'm still smitten with helena bonham carter and kristin kreuk (although this one has yet to grow from "cute" to "beautiful").
Love Isabella...y'know her mother wasn't exactly a smelly bag-o-laundry, either! Also...
Sophia Loren
Catherine Deneuve
Natalie Wood
Heddy Lamarr? I'm impressed. She crossedmy mind also but i figured if Iadded her to the list most epople here would be saying "WHO? is she a stripper? Porn star?"
did you read her book, ecstasy and me, orion? ballsy chick that one.
That's another thread altogether.
Her momma was stunning as well. And any list that does not include Grace Kelly has no business existing. But I agree with the post above that Ashley Judd & Nicole Kidman are two of the most stunning actresses working today, but I would put Juliette Binoche above them. Talk about beautiful.
All the Gallic babes! Fanny Ardant, Isabelle Adjani, Julie Delpy...Emmanuelle Beart, Jacqueline Bisset
I don't know about the most beautiful woman EVER, but I do have a pick for the most beautiful woman ALIVE:
Gabrielle Union
I can't belive I forgot my very first icon of female beauty, Julie Newmar. I met her about a year ago and at age 70 something, I believe, she is still breath takingly beautiful.
I never read Heddy's book, I'll have to look for it. I'm sure my local library could order me a copy if they don't have one in stock.
How about some of our Broadway Ladies??? Like...Bernadette Peters
EVER?
I could agree with Natalie Wood.
As for Broadway ladies ... Bernadette?
Oh please.
Anne Jeffries was an absolute knock-out in her day.
Oh.. yeah. Natalie Wood!
Broadway, broadway... let's see:
Most know my taste by now. I really think that Kerry Butler is incredibly hot.
I've always liked the Pennys of the world. The Ambers don't do as much for me.
Back in the 80's Bernadette was voted one of the top most beautiful women. Besides I thought we all have our own opinion around here of who is beautiful to us.
I didn't notice the thread reading...Most Beautiful woman ever...according to JohnPopa..so pleeaaassssssssseeeeeeee.
i agree, bernadette was never that hot, to me. and i've even got a thing for redheads...even faux redheads...

i totally do not get jessica simpson and do not find her attractive. she's so much a product of make-up and hair care products...there's just sump'n not right about that gal...i mean besides the obvious constant hiss of the leak from her ears.
I get the appeal of most of the female celebs today. They are so over done with cosmetic surgery and make up. Very few are naturally beautiful. Julianne Moore is the one exception I can think of. Even with no make up and her hair under a baseball cap she is georgeous.
