I'm just glad I'm not the only one who STILL can't watch "Dumbo" et al without being emotionally destroyed. Those early Disney movies weren't kids' movies at all, were they?

I hate the Black Cauldron because they f*cked up the books. You can especially see it with Eilonwy. In the books she's chatty, independent, and has beautiful red-gold hair, and in the film she's pathetic, always whimpering Taran's name when they get in trouble...and she's BLONDE. Gahhhh stupid Disney.
