when i first read it, i sent it to my sister right away...because it sounds just like our mom, who TO THIS DAY thinks its the height of wit to make jokes about bombs & drugs while going thru security @ airports.
she's been detained twice for it (she compulsivley makes smartass remarks like, "dont break my bomb, heh heh").
in the article, the school said that they wanted to press charges against the woman, & i agree.. & i think thats what needs to happen with my own mom, because she *still* thinks she can wave it off as a joke.

Can you imagine the fear that those children must have felt, the confusion and everything? Or the student teaching assistant thinking about her life and the childrens'? I can't even continue trying to fathom how horrible and senseless it is to do to somebody. Even any adult would be pretty shaken, but these kids...

Apparently she has a court appearance on 4/30 and faces up to year in prison and a $2500 fine.
Perhaps getting the max on this might slap some reality into her. I'm really curious about what her explanation/defense will be for doing such a twisted thing.
