It's one of my favorites of YOURS, not one of my favorite movies in general. But it's so good to watch, even if there are definite flaws.

SG, I bought it because of Anne Rice, and because of Townsend. But to me, the flaws outweigh it's good points.

I bought it cause there are some pretty hot scenes (HELLOOOOO! Rose petal bath, anyone?) and because I want to do naughty, naughty things to Stu Townsend.

I've always had a thing for vampires and vampire movies, so that's why Queen of the Damned is so great to watch. I should add to my list that I own Bram Stoker's Dracula, but the truth is that I'm not ashamed of owning it. It's one of my favorite movies and I love it. Do you hear me? I LOVE BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA!!!

I bought it only because it Michael Bublé is in it, and it was in the $6 and under bin at Wal-Mart. Watched it once.

Eating Out is a bad gay love crapfest.

And yes, that rose petal bath scene is just hot.. and Townsend is hot too! Especially when he's on that billboard, I think, in those jeans and uh.. Hot.

yes SG like showgirls without the nudity.. It's that sort of train wreck..

Umm I have a friend that owns the Pee Wee movies.. I'm ashamed of that and I dont own them..

The thing about Showgirls is that even though it's a monument to awesomely bad film-making, it's still very high on the inadvertant comedy scale. Sometimes I can actually stomach that movie just for a good laugh.

What I don't understand about Showgirls is that everyone's like, "Oh! She's got so much talent!" Yet Elizabeth Berkeley dances so terribly in the show that at some point it stops being laughable and becomes sad because you know the odds of her living this movie down are slim. She could cure AIDS and then go on to star in the most ingenious production of Follies when she's 55. But people will always say, "Wait, wasn't that the awful girl from Showgirls?"

I dunno, I think her association with SHOWGIRLS is a good thing. She has nowhere to go but up. I think the cast was capable (Gina rocks) so, I think the problem was the direction or lack there of.
By the way ~ my two favourite lines are

"Yeah, well you f*cked the meter reader" &
"It must be weird not havin' people cum on ya"

And how bout that writing?! The writing was just deplorable! There are definitely ways this movie could have been rescued. But obviously no one wanted to take te time or the effort to do it. And yet, I still can't help but be totally entertained by it.

I agree. All the pieces were there for a great theatrical film yet they didn't come together due to it being made into a bad B soft porn movie as apposed to a film that could be taken seriously. I've always seen the potential for it to be a truly fabulous film for all the right reasons. It needed to be workshopped! LOL
