I thought I had seen it all ... but "muchly"? There is an individual I work with that signs his emails with "Thanks muchly." What does that even mean? Is this a common saying that I have been oblivious to? Something new the kids are saying?

Aw, DD, he's just trying to be cute.
Nothing is cute when the fuse is short on a Friday.

I hope you have a long weekend full of relaxation!
So it is a cutesy thing? That's what a coworker thought as well.

Yeah, I've heard people say "thank you muchly" before. I think it's just someone being a cutzereenie.
This weekend - we'll see about relaxation after tomorrow's game.

DD: I have never signed an e-mail or any other written correspondence like that, but I am guilty of saying "thank you muchly" in real life. As a joke. It's just supposed to be silly. Hope your day gets better!
Taz - did you read on another thread that you were toasted over sangria last night?
Thanks Erika. Actually, I am now laughing at myself, so it's already on the upswing.
