Ashanti was anything but an actress. Pure attitude, nothing else.
But the script didn't call for acting.
Big disappointment. Not the quality that previous Muppet movies were. Even the DTV Muppet films.
And I couldn't believe the sexuality in the film. Miss Piggy grabbing Kermit's ass (does he have an ass?), the revealing outfits Miss Piggy wore, Gonzo's comment about his Chicken girlfriend, etc. Over the children's heads - but still inappropriate.
Make a GOOD Muppet film. Better yet - revive THE MUPPET SHOW.

Yeah, didn't enjoy Ashanti.
I just couldn't believe they said "Bitch" in a Muppet movie.
What is this world coming to?

Of course it sucked. Ashanti was in it.
Ashanti = No talent
I think the most awkward moment was the Gonzo "nipple" scene - it was just tremendously uncomfortable...
My kids liked it though (the younger ones)...
As I said in another thread, it was a piece of sh*t!
Joshua, but don't you think that Britney Spears is talented?

I think that Britney Spears is a great performer. Can she dance? Yes. Can she put on a great spectacle? Yes. Can she sing? No.
I think Ashanti is an awful singer, dancer and performer. She bores me to death. I see no appeal in her.

CapnHook, what do we have to do to shake you out of this developmental stage you're stuck in? I mean, it may be a good sign that for once you don't enjoy something that is designed for children, perhaps it's a sign that you're finally becoming an adult. But please, don't become the kind of adult who thinks an outfit warn by a pig puppet is too revealing "for the children!"

Maybe she went to the Eliza Dushku School of Acting.
I loved it. But I would have liked it better with the real songs from the Wiz.
Come on and EASE ON DOWN. Ease on DOWN THE ROAD.
Would have been better.
Piggy in leather was funny, but I told my sister to let my four year old nephew watch it.
I thought it was fine, maybe a little over his 4 year old head.
I really loved that shrimp!
Sweetums was in it! The old muppet films are so much better.
What ever happened to:
I'm Robin Sir Robin the brave.
I'm galant and daring and noble and ....
SWEETUMS GONNA HIT AND SMACK TURN OL FROG TO FROGGY MASH.
I need to find that on dvd for Jackson and Neddie!
Does anyone know if the Frog Prince is still around.
The Muppet Film. It was my first exposure to the muppets.

Oh yes - the nipples was very wrong.

Get help. Seriously.
Corine, he is a King Prawn---not a shrimp!?!?
Get it right woman, okay?
Well - not "new" Disney. Nothing Disney Channel. Let TREASURE PLANET burn in hell.
I'm talking the classics and contemporary animated musicals.
C'mon, you know you love some Lady & The Tramp.
A prawn is a large shrimp.
Trust me. This shrimp loves Prawns.
He was actually the best part of the film.
I wished they used songs from Broadway.
How about Wicked Muppets.
Defying PIGGY.
LOL!
No good pig goes unpunished.
As long as you're my frog.

Capn, they said bitch with the whole thing between Witch of the West and Dorothy, the rat was like "Somebody is gonna get bitch slapped."
I went *gasp*
And Pepe was kick ass. He is awesome, along with Beaker, but they didn't have anything to do with anything.
I got your back, Capn. I am and always will be a Disney freak.

The actual line was "Somebody's gonna get witch-slapped."
I know that must SCANDALIZE all of your virginal ears.
so did they say bitch?

Sorry, I must have heard the wrong thing. Because people make MISTAKES. I just heard something wrong.
I was just saying that if on a "Family show" bitch wasn't an appropriate word. But in the end I was wrong.
Sorry for being human.

No they did, in fact, not. It would seem that people aren't what you'd call very good at the listening skills around here.
Poor Namo, you've suffered so much unnecessary abuse today, but you've cracked me up consistently, so thanks.
kermit, piggy, and ashanti are on CNN right now... interesting
