Musical Theatre Class Project Help

Okay. I have a project coming up in my MT class where I have to pick a mt actress who plays characters I would play--in voice type and character--and then pick a song they sang in a show they were in and perform it in character for my class, and I could really use some suggestions!

I am a soprano and I am 15. I look young and I usually get cast as younger characters. Love interests, bubbly characters, etc. HELP!!!!!!

Please suggest actors AND shows/songs

You could do something from the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, like I Speak Six Languages or something. . .It also probably couldn't hurt to do something from Les Mis. . .unless it's a big class in which case someone else may too. . .

Pick someone you look like. That might be easiest. Blonde = Glinda. Black hair = Elphaba.

Okay, just kidding. Don't do that.

What specific roles have you been cast in? Find actors who've played those roles and look up what else they've done. Ibdb.com will help you find actors/roles.

my acting teacher actually suggested I do Shirley Jones and do Laurey, but I just cant stand Oklahoma (and Carousel)

I finally chose Celia Keenan-Bolger
listen to her all the time and I just didnt think of her for some reason. Iv been trying to decide for WEEKS! hehe you really helped a lot.
