with "joey" pulled off the nbc schedule for the second time after a dismal tuesday night airing, the end of "will & grace" and now with "four kings" dethroned, what's next for the peacock network?

Teachers! It's like Friends and Joey. But with teachers!
Do you think Will Utay is available to play the quirky science teacher?
Joey's been pulled? Like, more than once?
Wow...that's only about a year overdue.
apparently, it would have cost nbc major bucks to pull "joey" off the air. leblanc's contract stated that he would get $700,000 per episode for two seasons' worth of shows, whether or not they were even filmed. plus, there were other penalties to be paid to warner bros. if the network cancelled the show.
Wow. Well, Four Kings is a big, fat, sh*t sammy so here's hoping Teachers is at least borderline watchable (plus, it has the actress who played Susan on the original - and WONDERFUL! - British edition of Coupling).
Fortunately, My Name is Earl and the Office provide some good moments.
Susan is on Teachers???? I wil DEFINITELY watch just for her. LOVE HER!!

They're thinking of retitling it "Teachers featuring Susan."
Namo, they should. They really, really should.
Heck, what they REALLY should do is attempt to air the original episodes of British Coupling on NBC and try to pretend that fiasco they passed off as an American version never happened.
Namo - You stole my idea!
I'm just wondering if this "Teachers" is an American version of the BBC series of the same title with the delicious Andrew Lincoln.
MisterMatt: it is. It's now set in....JERSEY!
But it also stars the delightful Kali Rocha (from Buffy The Vampire Slayer) so my tivo is all set.
My Name is Earl and the Office are in my opinion, the only reasons to watch NBC anymore.
Well, as evidenced by your avatar, of course you'd think that.
And I love Jim.
Sarah Alexander...so hot...even if I wasn't a teacher, I'd watch the show just for her....the first few seasons of Coupling (before Richard left) were some of the best half hours of sitcom of all time.

Sarah Alexander is stunningly gorgeous.
Tonight on Will & Grace - Gay Cowboys.
Only about three months late with the Brokeback jokes.

When I think of Coupling I think of "The Mind of the Married Man" and Sonya Walger. Was she in the original Coupling ?

Which is a shame Plum, a shame.
All I watch on NBC any more is Scrubs and The Office. I used to watch The Apprentice, but after that hiring debacle last year I lost what little respect I had for Trump and refuse to watch this year.
despite it having jumped the shark long ago and introducing idiotic storylines that go nowhere (taye diggs, why?), will & grace still makes me laugh and is just fun to watch. last night's episode was quite amusing - mostly because i love beverly leslie!
and i agree that scrubs has a tremendous cast. that's something that it, the office, and my name is earl have going for them - strong leads and an excellent supporting cast; something "joey" never fully realized. the supporting cast (other than the agent, sister and nephew) were AWFUL and it was even worse when they added the annoying friend who never leaves!
RobbO,
Can't we all agree that the fantastic Jaime Pressley is one of THE best reasons to watch My Name is Earl? The woman needs an Emmy.
she is phenomenal is that role. every scene she is in is a winner. pure comic gold!
The only thing fit to watch on Thursday night is Divine Design on HGTV with the uber fab Candice Olsen.
