Anyone here check it out yet? I've heard it's great fun. It's 71% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be playing in 3-D anywhere close to me.
It is a lot of fun, and excellent 3-D. Where the hell do you live? I live in Nowhere'sville, and we have it in 3-D.
The theaters I usually go to are in Michigan City, IN and South Bend, IN. Apparently they just don't have the 3-D capabilities to show it at either place.
Hey Mr. midwest, I did my undergrad work at IU Bloomington, love that city.
I really want to see this movie. I like it looks great in that awful kinda way. I remember seeing Friday the 13th 3 in 3-D when I was a kid. I wasn't old enough to see it alone, so my step-mother took me and my brother. I was wonderful when Jason squeezed that guys head till his eye ball shot out!
I just looked up the website for Celebration! Cinema in Benton Harbor, and it's playing there, so I'll probably check it out soon.
I'm a huge horror fan, but my stomach churned at the thought of paying $12.50 for a ticket. As it turned out, it was worth every penny. The whole experience is a BLAST. It's really like being in a funhouse. The lead actor (Jensen Ackles) is atrocious, but the biggest surprise of all is that the movie is pretty damn good for a horror remake.
Go with a huge group, and enjoy.
It looks like the suits @ the movie studios are again hoping 3 D will rescue them
In the 50's ,to combat tv, the studios tried 3 D. They killed it by making every crappy movie they could. Although I like 3D & the trailer makes the effects look great, I am not a slasher movie fan. I will have to wait for something else or the next one in IMAX
I doubt this will help to any big extent but they will try anything at this point. How about better movies & lower prices?
